FAA Releases Records on the DC9 dubbed “Cocaine One”

Today Daniel Hopsicker is expected to publish yet another installment in his “5.5 Ton…” story.
On his website, Hopsicker reports that the FAA has finally turned over the records on the DC9 in question.

A number of disturbing new details have come to light this week in the growing scandal over the massive seizure of 5.5 tons of cocaine in Mexico on April 10th concerning the ownership of the DC9 airliner (N900SA), their connections to the national Republican Party, and the identity of the plane’s missing pilot.
After a public email campaign prodding them to action, and with the protestation that they had been sent more than three weeks earlier with requests from other news organizations, the FAA finally released the plane’s records to The MadCowMorningNews.
Immediately at least one reason for the FAA’s foot-dragging became clear…
