MAXIM: 9/11 Conspiracy Theories
MAXIM magazine’s March 2006 issue features an article on 9/11 “Conspiracy Theories”.
Will this be another hitpiece, reminiscent of the Popular Mechanics / Benjamin Chertoff issue?
CONSPIRACY THEORIES
WHAT REALLY BROUGHT DOWN THE TOWERS?“It’s four and a half years after 9/11, and there’s still much unknown about that day. We examine the theories, from remote–controlled planes to our own government’s intentionally letting it all go down, no matter how absurdly bat–shit crazy they happen to be.”

After hearing this news, I ran out of my house and sprinted to my local convenience store to check out this article.
The heading across the top of the cover reads:
9/11 CONSPIRACY THEORIES - STRANGER THAN FICTION
What? “Stranger than fiction”? The truth is stranger than fiction, could this be an article based on 9/11 truths?
Contrary to my original speculation, this did not appear to be a hitpiece, although I was only able to skim the article. The gentleman behind the counter asked me 3 times if I was going to purchase the magazine. I left the house so quickly, I failed to grab my wallet, so I had to regretfully tell him “not right now”.
From what I gathered, the article begins with an interview with Sander Hicks, then moves on to Jimmy Walter. There’s a picture of David Icke at the bottom of one of the pages, although I didn’t get a chance to read what they had to say about him.
For the most part, the article seemed to focus on the collapse of the WTC buildings, although I noticed some of it referred to the Pentagon.
I’ll pick up a copy tomorrow, more to come…
