William Rodriguez, a 9-11 Survivor

This past week I had the great pleasure of meeting William Rodriquez, a humble man from Puerto Rico who worked at the World Trade Center. He looked healthy in spite of suffering from many 9-11 related toxic diseases.

The occasion was at a special meeting at the Schaumburg, Illinois Township Library in the Chicago suburbs. This informative presentation served as a memorial for the many victims as we approach the fourth year anniversary of 9-11. In addition to William other knowledgeable and well qualified individuals presented their thoughts: Phil Jayhan, Dave VonKleist and Christopher Bollyn, a journalist with the American Free Press. This event, which should have been standing room only, was sponsored in part by the American Free Press as well as Jimmy Walter and Eric Hufschmid, a physicist and author of Painful Questions.

A press release was sent to all of the print media in the Chicago area about a month in advance of this event. There was a very tiny isolated notice about the event in one of the Chicago papers. Surely the local newspapers would wish to interview the participants on such an important subject as 9-11. But, only one Hispanic television station sent a journalist and a camera. So we must assume that the other Chicago news organizations have already determined exactly what they desire their readers to believe about 9-11. Let’s not deviate from the government version and confuse people with the truth!

In the second major blow in as many weeks to the credibility of the 9.11 Commission report, the MadCowMorningNews has learned exclusively that during final preparations for the Sept 11 attack, Mohamed Atta’s father was ‘visiting’ his terrorist ringleader son in Venice, Florida.

Moreover, the FBI knew about the U.S. visit of Cairo attorney Mohammed El-Amir almost immediately after the attack, when, after seeing him on television denying that his son had anything to do with the terrorist hijackings, a number of credible witnesses called the Sarasota office of the FBI to report they had seen Atta’s father in Venice with his son ten days to two weeks before the attack.

In addition, closed circuit videotape provided to the FBI as evidence of Atta Senior’s presence appears to have been intentionally erased.

This event had a large turnout, I estimate around 150, although 95% of them appeared to be over 60. It would have been nice to see some younger faces, they must have been handing out free IPods down the street or something.

Chris Bollyn played host and spoke in between the other speakers, touching on Dr. W. Gene Corley’s bs reports, Eric Hufschmidt’s book and DVD, Jimmy Walter, Urban Moving Systems, Zin International and the absurd allegation of AA77’s engines falling off before impact.

The first speaker was William Rodriguez who always tells a fascinating story. The guy sitting next to me kept gasping, totally freaked out.

William detailed the morning of 9/11 from his perspective, emphasising the fact that explosions occured in the basement.

The one thing that Rodriguez mentioned that was news to me was that the pulverized concrete was hot and burned his face and eyes, very interesting. (Rodriguez’s recent interviews here, mp3)

Next up was Dave VonKleist who spoke on topics of socially engineered hatred of Muslims, the hole at the Pentagon, Pentagon Building Performance Report (played In Plane Site footage), pod/flash/missile, Popular Mechanics and what we can do to expose this fraud.

Dave was his usual animated self and the audience seemed to really dig him. Also, by show of hands, there were many Power Hour listeners in the crowd.

Phil Jayhan was impressive as well, he started off by asking how many of the crowd believed the official story, not one person raised their hand, although one bozo wanted to argue over semantics. Chris Bollyn had to repeatedly tell this clown to hold his “question” for the Q&A session, the guy did not want to shut up.

Phil went on to explain that AA77 and UA93 were not in the BTS database which indicates the flights did not exist. Unfortunately, several attendees took this to mean that “the planes did not exist”, which opened up some dialogue. In closing, Phil touched on our loss of freedoms and that it’s all of our responsibility to inform people.

A funny aside. Near the close of the presentation, Chris Bollyn informed attendees that we would have to vacate the 2nd floor of the Schaumburg Library by 5PM sharp. Dave VonKleist added “Don’t worry! William can have us all out of here in 3 minutes!”

This abstract is based on already prepared research at team8plus.org, as presented here during the first days after the attack, which brought us attention at prisonplanet, breakfornews and wikipedia.
However they also withdraw the references after a short time.

The current co-operative military exercises with Russia are the 12th with foreign armed forces since October 2002. The following is a chronology:

October 10-11, 2002, with Kyrgyzstan Joint anti-terror exercise along the common border. First bilateral anti-terror exercise conducted by members of the Shanghai Co-operation Organization (SCO).

August 6-12, 2003, with SCO member nations Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan First anti-terror exercise within the framework of the SCO and China’s first participation in multilateral joint manoeuvres.

August 25, 2003 China invited 27 foreign military observers from 15 countries to watch manoeuvres at its largest tactical drill base in Inner Mongolia.

October 22, 2003, with Pakistan Joint naval search-and-rescue exercise near Shanghai in the East China Sea. First naval joint exercise with a foreign counterpart since 1949.

November 14, 2003, with India Joint naval search-and-rescue exercise off the coast of Shanghai in the East China Sea, the first between the two nations.

March 16, 2004, with France First maritime drills with its French counterpart, in the East China Sea near Qingdao, Shandong Province.

June 20, 2004, with the United Kingdom First maritime drills with its UK counterpart, in the East China Sea.

Mistakes led to tube shooting

ITV News has obtained secret documents and photographs that detail why police shot Jean Charles De Menezes dead on the tube.

The Brazilian electrician was killed on 22 July, the day after the series of failed bombings on the tube and bus network.

The crucial mistake that ultimately led to his death was made at 9.30am when Jean Charles left his flat in Scotia Road, South London.

Surveillance officers wrongly believed he could have been Hussain Osman, one of the prime suspects, or another terrorist suspect.

Former flight school owner says U.S. intelligence failure ruined his life

VENICE — While Mohamed Atta was taking flight lessons in Venice in the months before the 9/11 attacks, a little-known intelligence arm of the federal government may have identified him as a member of the al-Qaida terrorist group but took no action to stop him.

The classified military intelligence unit called “Able Danger” identified Atta and three others as possible members of an al-Qaida cell operating in the United States more than a year before the 9/11 attacks, U.S. Rep. Curt Weldon, R-Pa., vice chairman of the House Armed Services and Homeland Security committees, told the New York Times.

FORT BRAGG, N.C. — The state’s largest anti-terrorism drill continues Tuesday.

The exercise began Monday and involves more than 80 state, federal and local agencies. Tuesday’s drill includes a mock raid on a terrorist safe house at Fort Bragg and a retaliatory strike with a radioactive dirty bomb.

Monday’s drill saw soldiers storm a bus full of visiting congressional dignitaries held hostage. The soldiers then teamed up with an elite FBI unit to track down terrorists.

To honor the memory of the victims of 9/11, William Rodriguez, last survivor from the World Trade Center, will speak at the Schaumburg Township District Library, near Chicago, on Sunday, August 21, 2005, from 2 to 5 p.m.

On September 11, 2001, Rodriguez, custodian of the stairwells of the North Tower, helped save hundreds of lives at the World Trade Center by leading firefighters up the stairwells and opening the fire doors with his master key. Disregarding orders from his superiors, Rodriguez repeatedly returned to the building to assist those trapped within the burning tower.

He is the last person known to have escaped from the North Tower and miraculously survived the collapse by diving under a fire truck that was parked near the entrance.

THREE members of Panama’s navy drowned today during a regional drill to test the Panama Canal’s defences against terror attacks.

The Panama Martime Authority said the three sailors drowned in a lake when they became entangled in underwater vegetation.

They were taking part in military manoeuvres in the lake, which is linked to the canal, to test its defences against possible attacks. Their identities were not immediately released.

About 3,500 navy personnel from Argentina, Canada, Chile, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Honduras, Mexico, Peru and the United States were also participating in the Panama exercise.

The canal, which connects the Pacific and Atlantic oceans, carries five per cent of world trade and saves ships a 12,800 km trip around Cape Horn at the tip of South America.

Sept. 11 firefighters’ documents released

NEW YORK — The Fire Department of New York on Friday made public thousands of pages of oral histories recorded by firefighters on Sept. 11, 2001, and hours of radio transmissions, as family members spoke out on reopening the investigation after reports of omissions to the Sept. 11 commission’s report.

Firefighter Kirk Long, whose Engine 1 was sent to the World Trade Center’s north tower — the first to be hit by a plane and the second to collapse — described rushing into the tower as people were making their way out.

“I was watching every person coming down, looked at their face, just to make them happy that they were getting out and we were going in, and everything was OK,” Long said in his oral history.

Long said he heard the north tower shake and thought something in the basement had exploded.

“At that time I never knew that the south tower had gone down,” he said.

Some families and other critics of the city’s response were hoping the documents would help them challenge the finding that many firefighters in the north tower heard but ignored an order to evacuate after the south tower collapsed at 9:59 a.m.

At least one fire lieutenant quoted in the oral histories said he heard the call and saw his colleagues leaving.

Emergency crews in Lyon County got a test Friday in dealing with a mass evacuation caused by a nuclear incident. Emporia State University hosted the exercise.

Wolf Creek power plant let off a radioactive plume forcing nearly 6,000 residents out of their homes, that’s the mock scenario testing Lyon County emergency crews as those residents make their way to the evacuation post at Emporia State.

Radioactive material was hidden on a Wolf Creek employee playing an evacuee living near the plant. Lyon County emergency crews ushered evacuees through sensors separating who’s been contaminated.
Rick Frevert, Lyon County Emergency management coordinator said,
“It allows our people to practice to set up to prepare to receive those people and see where we can improve.”

A rich vein of city records from Sept. 11, including more than 12,000 pages of oral histories rendered in the voices of 503 firefighters, paramedics, and emergency medical technicians, will be made public today.

The histories - a mosaic of vision and memory recalling the human struggle against surging fire, confusion, and horror - were compiled by the New York City Fire Department beginning in October 2001, but to this date, no one from the department has read them all or used them for any official purpose.

The city has announced that it will also release today a written log of calls to the 911 system, many from trapped office workers, as well as tapes of fire dispatchers. Other records, including tapes of 911 operators, are being assembled and are not yet ready for release, city officials said.

The New York Times sought the records under the freedom of information law in February 2002, but the Bloomberg administration refused to make them public and the newspaper sued the city. Earlier this year, the Court of Appeals, New York’s highest court, ordered the city to release most, but not all, of the records.

Drill to test delivery of medicine in emergency

The bombings in London’s Underground on Thursday were a tragic reminder of why U.S. officials must keep emergency preparedness drills on their minds.

Public agencies in Rome and Floyd County are no exception. In fact, said Floyd County Health Department Nurse Manager Pat Townley, local public health officials have been planning one particular response exercise the past year and plan to test it for the first time this month.

The health department will be closed Tuesday and Thursday, July 21, so employees can train for and participate in an interstate homeland security exercise with Bartow County health officials and officials from the state of Tennessee, Townley said.
